Spring Pasta!

Spring Pasta with rape blossoms.
We eat almost bloomed rape flowers and now the season for it.
The taste is a bit bitter and bitter taste is the taste of spring.
Also many of edible spring wild grasses and spring veges taste bitter.
These veges and grasses with bitter taste can clean up our body accumulating fat during the winter time and make it get ready for summer time. Posted by Picasa

Rape Blossoms. Never heard of it. I searched and looked at the pictures. I don't see it in markets here. Thanks for the tip. The pasta with rape blossoms looks great. No wonder Japanese in general looks great. Hmmm, I will eat more of my greens!

oh, there is no name of veges like that? :-( I didn't know what to say it in english, so I serched with my dictionaly and it said "rape blossoms". from the seed we can squeeze vege oil and the flower is yellow. we call it in japanese "Nanohana" or "Karashina". radish also has very similar flower.
