Lettuce from Mr. Kawano

Lettuce on top was grown by Mr. Kawano who are working in a Japanese car campany "Daihatsu" as engineer and doing weekend farming.
He finished many of our farming courses that we (where I am working) are offering and sometimes visits us with fresh veges and Sake. :-)
The Lettuce was super tasty! Posted by Picasa

Lunch for Hot Summer

Today's lunch is Salad Udon(Japanese noodle).
Very easy, just put salad on Udon noodle.
For sauce, I mixed creamy sesami dressing and Korean Gochujang chili paste. Posted by Picasa

mall of Asia

Huge! Posted by Picasa

Run!

Sometimes we are attacked by a big wave crushed into the bricks.
We had to run away from it coz seawater from Manila bay is obviously polluted. :-) Posted by Picasa

Sun is setting in Manila Bay

We went to a newly opened super huge mall, SM mall of Asia.
It is just beside Manila bay.
After we shopped, we enjoyed the sea breeze there and could see beautiful sunset. Posted by Picasa

Dinner at Marikit na

I reccomend you this restaurant "Marikit Na" if you wana eat good Filipino food.
Especially "Sinigang sa Miso" there is excellent! Posted by Picasa

Boneless Bangus

My favorite Filipino dish, Boneless Bangus.
Y boneless? coz the structure of bone of this fish is really complecated and its very difficult to eat the fish if it still has bones. Have to put 2/3 of your energy for removing the bones. only 1/3 for enjoying the taste of fish.
So if you wana fully enjoy eating the fish then better to order Boneless Bangus.
This is marinated with Vinegar and Garlic and Chili (? I guess) and grilled.
Yammy! :-)~ Posted by Picasa

My first night in the Philippines was blessed with flood!

Long time no see my dear Phillippines!
I was in the Philippines only for 1 week to see my friends.
And the first night was blessed with flood.
Every one was having problem with this instant flood after a few hours of heavy rain. Once Manila has heavy rain, people have very difficult time to find way to get home.We luckily could find seats in a jeep going home and I was soooo happy with the jeepny ride and seeing all the cars running in the flood. It is as if cars are running in a river. Posted by Picasa
